Mine it´s truly an exciting city....

Like most of my classmates here in URBE, I´m from Maracaibo witch I consider a really beautiful city no matter the few disadvantages I think it has. Maracaibo like most of big cities in Venezuela, has a very rich culture making it a hole world to discover. Starting by our indigenous culture ( Amerindian people we call wayuu ),and all the people who has come to mix they´re own culture with our providing a wide range of colors and flavors.

Transportation and the really hot weather are the only two things I complain about here in Maracaibo.

There are few cities I could say are my favorite’s ones, for different reasons. One of them would be Holland for it´s old buildings, it´s ever green gardens and certainly for it´s tulips; another one would be Canada, Peru and Mexico for they´re history and culture and many more….

I´ve never ridden a camel, but.....

I´m not really exiting person, but I´ve done few interesting things such as:

* I´ve been to a Caribbean island when I was 18 years old, and it was great.

* I´ve belonged to a theater group for about three years between 1999 and 2002.

* I´ve exposed a painting in an art gallery in Barbados, in December 2005. For sure I´ve ridden a horse, but I´m afraid that I´ve never ridden a camel….

For the future I´m full of expectations, and I´m full of dreams too, for instance:

* I haven´t done an exposition here in Maracaibo, and I´m planning to do one the first term next year.

* I´ve never been to Canada or Usa, and that´s one of my dreams, also to be able to travel around Europe.

* And of course I´ve never been married, but I plan to do it in a far, far future.

Hi, people. My name is Kissy Alejandra Melendez and every body call me just Kissy; I was born in Maracaibo but I live in Sierra Maestra in San Francisco.
I’ll tell you my age if you kept me the secret, just joking, I’m 28 years old.
I study Graphic design at URBE.
I love music, all kind, reading, surfing the net, my dogs, my family, painting, modeling with clay and the list goes on............
I hate smoking, getting up early any day of the week, public transportation, envy....
One of my dreams is to go to the moon, to be an excellent designer and also study art. I would love to learn few other languages such as Italian, Portuguese, and may be Russian (so I could go to Russia and meet vitas).
I believe English is a powerful tool that will open lots of doors all around the world no matter what your career is; In this demanding society English would bring you closer to success.
